Abstract
This commentary is on the QUAD (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) in the Indo-Pacific region, focusing on its role as a counter-China strategy. The QUAD, comprising the US, Japan, India, and Australia, challenges China by establishing alternative markets and supply chains. It emphasizes the importance of democracy and the stability of democratic countries in the QUAD. Despite recent declines, the US will emerge victorious due to its military strength, long-term counter-China strategy, and broader allies.
